Decision taken to facilitate( from the rehabilitation amount of Rs 20,000/) procuring assets towards self employment for rehabilitation of freed bonded labourers. The rehabilitation amount will be transferred to the bank/post office account of the freed bonded labour and the DM will guide in the procurement of assets. It is to be ascertained that some asset is purchased within 30 days of receipt of the rehabilitation amount and inform the DM. The DM will verify the purchase. The DM will further monitor that the asset purchased is enhancing their livelihood and that it is safe and not been taken away/threatened by someone else.
