Now, the schoolchildren will not be allowed to display dangerous events, stunts and martial arts during the Republic Day function on January 26, as the State Commission for Protection of Child Rights (SCPCR) has imposed a restriction on such events keeping in view the safety of children. Besides, the commission has also asked the Deputy Commissioners (DCs) across the state to depute one teacher per 15 schoolchildren participating in the Republic Day programme in order to take care of them properly.
