Farmers fight to make green leaf tea floor price Rs.30 per kg

A total of 200 small tea growers staged a hunger strike at Suthanthira Thidal near ATC bus stop here on Friday, demanding minimum support price for green leaf tea, and waiver of agriculture loans and education loans of their wards. They said the floor price for green leaf tea should be fixed at Rs.30 per kg.
