The government has reached a settlement on bonus with workers in various sectors on Tuesday. As per the pact struck between Tourism Minister A.C. Moideen and recognised trade unions, the performance-linked incentive of Kerala Tourism Development Corporation employees has been increased from Rs.7,600 last year to Rs.9,100. Employees who got Rs.10,000 last year would get Rs.11,500 this year. The bonus for trainees would be Rs.4,000. Bonus for cleaning workers too has been fixed at Rs.4,000. The Minister assigned corporation managing director Balamurali to take a decision on the festival advance for contract workers.
