CEC's Internship Programme PDF Print E-mail

Objective

Internship programme through CEC aims students to be successful in a non profit community based environment and choose a career path with social commitment.

Overview

CEC's internship programme provides the students an opportunity to establish relationships with various organisations and acquire valuable work experience and deeper knowledge in their specialised fields.

CEC offers full-time internship to students from different universities, colleges, and trade unions. In a year CEC enrolls only eight students as interns (maximum two interns from same university/college/institution/trade union). Internships are generally for a period ranging from 6 weeks to 3 months, depending on the project each intern will be assigned to and on the requirements of each programme department/programme centre. If the work is found unsatisfactory, the contract will be cancelled.

CEC provides paid internship for the eligible candidates. The stipend amount depends on the project and the requirements of each programme department/programme centre.

All the interns are expected to adhere to the CEC code of conduct during their internship. A negative report will be given if the output and the general conduct of the person inside and outside the office are not up to the mark.
