The purpose of the project is to promote awareness on effective regulation, just transition and decent work for invisibilised (informal) workers, especially those of automotive and garment value
chains, app based sector workers etc. Moreover, the project will promote awareness of the labour organisations and civil society organisations about the actions that could be taken to promote decent work, effective regulation and just transition for all.
The project in accordance to its purpose, shall aim to implement the following activities:

To conduct and organise a study on just transition with a focus in the context of the automotive value chain in order to map out the basic elements necessary for an inclusivejust transition agenda, while keeping the workers in the centre stage.

To conduct and organise a short study that aims to investigate the rapidly evolving landscape of platform-based work in India with a focus on Delhi – NCR region and itsimplications for the labour market, social inclusivity, regulation, and the quality of work.

To conduct and organise a series of meetings called Labour Dialogues (online and physical) in order to outreach stakeholders and facilitate sharing of knowledge andinformation with stakeholders within and beyond Delhi.
