For thousands of migrant labourers, coming from different states every year to work in brick-kilns of J & K, better opportunities for their children to study and safe atmosphere are the main reasons to stay here. A majority of the labourers come from states like Bihar, Jharkhand, Orissa, Uttar Pradesh, Punjab etc to earn their livelihoods by working in brick-kilns, braving the scorching heat.
