Industrial safety audit of high-risk and accident-prone industries in the district, instituted at the direction of the State government, is on. While five teams, comprising officials of the AP Pollution Control Board and Factories Department, started the audit on Monday, officials of the Fire Services Department joined the survey teams on Tuesday. Collector N. Yuvaraj has formed five teams for inspection. On the first day, they visited 10 industries in the Ramky Pharma City, one of the officials, Chinna Rao, informed.
