To protest against the indifferent attitude of the state government, the Punjab Government Contract Employees Joint Action Committee has decided to observe the first day of the year as black day by wearing black badges. They have been demanding regularisations of their services. Following a meeting in Ludhiana, the member of the union decided to observe the first day of New Year as a black day.
