Horizon With Labour
Governor of Arunachal Pradesh P B Acharya has said that basic needs, such as accommodation, safe drinking water, medical and education facilities and provisions under the Food Security Act must be made available to the labourers in the state. He said this on the eve of International Labour Day, before going on to add that "We need to create facilities for their (Anganwadis) children and provide sports facilities in their camps as workers are the backbone of development of the state and the nation".
