Greater Kashmir PDC employees demand pensionary benefits

More than 1600 employees of J & K State Power Development Corporation (PDC) are presently a worried lot. Reason, their colleagues who retired on superannuation post 2010 have been deprived of pensionary benefits. According to the PDC employees the Accountant General (AG) office has rejected pension claims of their colleagues who retired on superannuation post 2010. The aggrieved told Greater Kashmir that while they come under the ambit of Power Development Department (PDD), the AG office is declining to entertain pension cases of PDC employees.
