Tea plucking season has started, but nearly 800 tea growers of Himachal Pradesh are in crisis due to shortage of labour and transportation facilities amid countrywide coronavirus lockdown. The state government has granted permission for tea plucking reacting to the strong demand of the growers. April month is the peak time when these tea cultivators get the best yield of the year from their gardens.
