Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal on Saturday handed over 50,000 masks to tea garden workers of Udalguri who had already resumed plucking tea leaves by maintaining social distancing norms. The Chief Minister also informed that he had already talked to a good number of Chief Ministers regarding the safety of the Assamese people living in their respective States and said that the State Government had undertaken measures for the safety of all people who had come to Assam before the lockdown period.
