The All India Trade Union leader Christopher Fonseca said that the Chief Minister Laxmikant Parsekar gave a patient hearing to a delegation of PWD society workers who called on him on Wednesday. Fonseca said that various issues were discussed and demands of the society workers were placed before the Chief Minister. Addressing a gathering near Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception Church, Fonseca said that he apprised the Chief Minister of the High Court directives of April 9, which stated that the PWD society workers should be into the regular service of the PWD whenever regular vacancies arise in the department.
