Small Tea Growers Societies get CEC award FROM A CORRESPONDENT TINSUKIA, July 4: The Small Tea Growers Societies of Tinsukia district were awarded by Centre for Education and Communication (CEC), a New Delhi based NGO as a part of their project sustainable livelihood for small tea growers. The awards comprising of a computer and a printer to improve digitalization of society operations along with one soil analysis kit each to help them improve their productivity. Jagriti Small Tea Growers Society, Chaoloong Su-ka-pha Small Tea Growers Society, Kailaspur Khudra Chahkhetiyok Samiti, Rangagora Small Tea Growers Society, Himalaya Small Tea Growers Society and other four tea growers’ societies were selected for the awards.
