The High Commission of India today urged Malaysian employers who seek to recruit Indian workers, to register in the Indian government’s eMigrate system. The High Commission of India in a press statement today said after the introduction of the new system, which was launched in July last year, foreign employers who want to hire manpower from India have to register through the system. “The objective of the system is to provide efficient, convenient, cost-effective and reliable emigration services in a transparent manner. “We encourage Malaysian employers to cooperate by registering online through web portal www.emigrate.gov.in,”said the press statement. The statement also added that Indian-nationals were also encouraged to utilise the model contract available on the website with respect to their employment terms to ensure their own security and welfare at work.
