Former bank employees affiliated to the Salem and Namakkal district All Banks Retirees Coordination Committee staged a demonstration in front of the head post office in the city on Saturday demanding steps to revise their pension. They demanded the Indian Banks Association to revise the pension of the retirees whenever the salary of the bank staff is revised.
