Jan Sangram Parishat has strongly condemned the police action against rural workers who were peacefully demanding work under Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Act (MGNREGA) here on Wednesday. Addressing a media conference here on Friday, Raghavendra Kushtagi, State working president of the organisation, said that the district administration was insensitive to rural workers who were hit hard by one of the worst droughts in the recent decades.
