Even as the entire country was celebrating the 70th Independence Day with much pomp and gaiety, employees of Satavahana University in Karimnagar were ruing as they were not paid salaries this month. Usually, the employees get their monthly salaries in their bank account on the first of every month. It has been over 15 days now, and the employees - including permanent, temporary and hired - are not credited with their salaries.
