Contractual employees of Guru Angad Dev Veterinary and Animal Sciences University (GADVASU), who are sitting on a hunger strike over the death of their colleague during duty hours, have come out against the move where the university has decided to take an undertaking asking them not to participate in any protest against the university, otherwise which their services will be terminated. The contractual staff said one of the members would sit on fast unto death on August 22 if the authorities do not fulfill their demands including compensation for the family of the worker who died on June 26 during duty hours.
