ACMS urges tea estates to declare quantum of bonus

The Assam Chah Mazdoor Sangha (ACMS) has urged upon the management of ABITA, ATPA, TAI, BCP and NETA to advise their member tea estates to declare the quantum of bonus and pay the same just three weeks ahead of Durga Puja. The ACMS further requested them to furnish the copy of Audited Balance Sheet and Computation Statement of fixed surplus for the year 2015-16 along with declaration of bonus to the secretary , ACMS, central office, Dibrugarh. The press communiqué of ACMS issued by its general secretary, Dileswar Tanti hoped that all gardens would declare and pay maximum quantum of bonus for the accounting year concerned, to meet the hopes and aspirations of the workers. The communiqué further stated that the ACMS demands had already been placed before the secretaries of Assam Branch of Tea Association, Guwahati and Jorhat, secretary of Tea Association of India, Jorhat, secretary of Bharatiya Chah Parishad, Dibrugarh and the secretary of North Eastern Tea Association, Golaghat, respectively with a hope that the respective garden management would take all necessary measures to meet their demands.
